Good Human Partners opens its doors
Today we're launching Good Human Partners. Our name comes from a phrase our Founder, AJ Keirans, has lived by for years: be a good human.
Today we're launching Good Human Partners. The name comes from a phrase our Founder, AJ Keirans, has been using for years: "Be a Good Human."
AJ brings more than 20 years in market research, across programming, operations and sales. Outside of work, he has spent more than four years creating, hosting and producing an award-winning podcast, The 16oz. Canvas – The Art of Craft Beer. Across more than 180 episodes, he has interviewed the artists and designers behind beer labels and brewery branding, from 12 different countries.
The phrase became a slogan through the podcast. A run of merch glassware with Maine-based artist Ryan Adams was in the works when Covid hit and businesses across the craft beer world began to struggle. The project pivoted. Profits from the glasses would be split among a few Maine businesses connected to the podcast's journey, and "Be a Good Human" became the slogan. After the murder of George Floyd, the run was increased and a fourth recipient was added: the Legal Defense Fund.

Now the phrase is the name on our door, built on a simple idea: work AJ is the same as IRL AJ. Good Human Partners is about being true to what you believe in, and working with people, businesses and organizations that share your values. As AJ puts it, this "isn't coming from a place of arrogance or judgment." AJ also serves on the boards of the non-profits Beer Kulture and Change in the Air Foundation.
We can't wait to get to work.
